Closed to Nankai University，Tianjin CEC technology innovation park is surrounded by abundant scientific research resources. A total of 1.5 billion RMB has been invested in this project to build a high-level innovation center for emerging industries.

Based on the in-depth analysis of the current conditions, our design concept is inspired by the magnetic field, where different buildings form an attractive magnetic field with a clustering effect. Our design includes the following four main ideas:

1. Activate the urban space

Following the design principles of the surrounding environment, buildings are divided into three spatial levels from the vertical, with a rational organization of the flow lines, providing opportunities for people to get in touch with the environment or communicate with others.

2. Open and flexible space

The exhibition center is the window of the park as well as the visual midpoint of the open space. The building facade of the exhibition center is made of an ultra-white glass curtain wall, which can clearly see the intelligent space inside and attract people to enter.

3. Eco-friendly design

We take into account the climatic characteristics of Tianjin and provides a healthy design in terms of light, view, and indoor space. A sky terrace is created on some floors to extend the work and rest from indoors to outdoors, bringing people closer to the natural environment.

4. Office for the future

On the building facade, we adopt simple and powerful horizontal lines and high-tech texture curtain wall, forming an atmosphere of pursuing technology and innovation. Besides, the curved corners of the building, together with the magnetic lines of the site, form a sense of richly varied and future technology.
